- Through our process of resting our Ales and assuring they’re handled correctly we have been rewarded with the accreditation of ‘Cask Marque’ Cask Ale Excellence.
We always have Harveys Best Bitter (4%) on tap plus two guest ales, often from local breweries. We change the guest ales between the barrel so there is always something different to try.
Here are some of the recent Guest Ales that we have featured
Downlands Brewery Session Oatmeal Stout 4.2% – Expect dark chocolate notes, sweet buttery oat flavours and subtle hints of coffee. http://downlandsbrewery.com
Franklins Mama Knows Best, 4.1% – Malty Modern Best Bitter Our take on a British classic, Mama is the ultimate modern best bitter. A combination of US and UK hops give mixed berry flavours and a hint of papaya with a dry, earthy pine finish. A great all rounder. http://franklinsbrewery.co.uk

Hollerboys Guinea Pig Series Fruoty Pale 4.2% http://hollerbrewery.com
Old Dairy Uber Brew – A 3.8% beer bursting with hops, extremely clean-drinking Hoppy Pale Ale with a strong floral aroma. Full-bodied and full-flavoured yet gentle enough to make it a stunning session beer. Citra, Chinook and Equinox hops. http://olddairybrewery.com
Old Dairy Red Top – 3.8% – Relax and enjoy this classic English ale brewed with Maris Otter, Crystal, Brown and Chocolate malts. Savour the delicious toffee flavours with a hint of coffee, perfectly balanced against the fruitiness, spice and hints of citrus from East Kent Golding, English Cascade and Challenger hops. Goes particularly well with meat or fish.
